When I first saw how this Effortlessly Eclectic art collector displayed her new art in her home, I was so incredibly delighted! She loves to decorate with lots of bold beautiful color, so the piece feels right at home.
The colorful flowers in the artwork tie in so beautifully with the fun colorful pillow on the sofa. And the flowers look like they are blooming right there in the grass on those lovely spring green walls!
As you may know, I adore my daily walks in nature visiting the local flora & fauna. Much of my art is inspired by my love of nature.
And I love to pump things up a notch by adding a bit of whimsy! What kind of flowers are they? And are those leaves or feathers? I don’t know. But they sure feel happy! And does it really matter exactly what they are anyway? Because in art, anything can happen! That’s what makes it so much fun! It’s at once mysterious & playful! It transports you away from reality & into the land of your imagination. And that’s where the magic happens!
“Paisley Bloom” has always been a favorite of mine. And you know what? It was also the very first piece of Effortlessly Eclectic art to ever find its ways into a new home! And for both of those reasons, “Paisley Bloom” will always hold a very special place in my heart.
