Did you know that the way you decorate your home can greatly affect your life? It can literally change your state of mind, your energy level, your emotions, & your whole life experiece. Pretty amazing, isn't it?
Take a moment to think about how different colors, patterns, textures, & images might affect you. Bright colors can give you energy. Dim lighting can help you to relax. Soft textures can make you feel safe and loved.
Many of these sensual experiences are fairly universal. However, your own personal life experiences have taken part in shaping your preferences, so it's important to get in touch with the way different colors, patterns, textures, & images make YOU feel, because your experience may be very different than someone else's.
Being aware of how things make you feel is extremely valuable, because you can use this information to create the experiences you want to have in each room in your home. It's this amazing super power you probably didn't even know you possessed!

For example, feeling exotic & sexy may lead one person to think of red silk, sleek black furniture, tribal design details, and lots of shiny metals & crystal accents. Those are things that give them that feeling. While to another person it may mean purple velvet, silk sari patchworks, Moroccan lanterns, & lots of candles, because those are the things that make them feel exotic and sexy.
